Supporting Local Producers

We source our entire menu locally to support local farmers, watermen, vintners, distillers and other producers from the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. 

While the primary purpose is to support local producers and provide a premier social event for people interested in supporting their local community, proceeds over costs will go to Future Farmers of America in Calvert County.


Sue Kullen had "coordinating a Dining in the Field event" on her bucket list so she enlisted some talented friends to help.  The event was held to great acclaim in 2016 and 2017 and funded Young Farmers Scholarship through Calvert Farm Bureau.
